Dea Bridge

Dea is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a full provider/evaluator through the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB). 


She is the owner of Beyond the Bridge Counseling, PLLC and provides mental health counseling to adults through the Western Colorado Counseling Center. While incorporating a variety of therapeutic theories into her practice (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), treatment relies most heavily on concepts taken from a Humanistic Therapy, which recognizes the value of your life experience and how this influences the way you view the world, cultivating self-awareness, and exercising self-agency. 


Dea’s therapeutic interests include working with adults involved with the criminal justice system, adults who are involved in community support systems due to cognitive or developmental disabilities, military veterans, law enforcement / first responders, and those with general challenges that are creating disorder in life.
